  • 新 pickleball courts open on campus

    Campus Recreation has opened new outdoor pickleball courts 在 施利夫网球中心 for the enjoyment of SFA students, faculty, staff and community members with a Campus Rec membership. 白天开放, courts are available on a first-come, first-served basis (no pun intended).   • Business students advance in national sales invitational

    学生 奥斯卡·桑切斯和布莱利·亚当斯, management and marketing seniors, advanced to the regional round of Fastenal’s National Sales Invitational by making compelling 90-second “elevator pitches” for a fictional company. The experience offers students an atmosphere similar to a competitive sales environment, and winners receive recognition and monetary prizes.

SFA freshmen receive an axe handle to personalize with their own Lumberjack spirit. 学生 can be seen (and heard) banging axe handles on the bleachers at SFA football games.

 

Ole棉花

Ole棉花 is an imposing 75mm cannon that fires a celebratory shot every time the SFA Lumberjack football team scores. The SFA ROTC cadets man Ole棉花 just beyond the south end zone at Homer Bryce Stadium. The powerful blast can be heard – and often felt – all over town.
